Daniel Wyner, Chief Executive, Employment

Daniel joined ReadyTech to head Aussiepay and ePayroll in mid-2018, bringing over 10 years’ experience in the information, software and services industry and as a practicing accountant.

A natural business leader with a passion for innovation, Daniel is a former Asia-Pacific regional director at multinational Wolters Kluwer’s subsidiary CCH Australia, where his roles included Head of Strategy and M&A, General Manager of Sales, and Manager of Global Product Management.

Daniel’s worked as an accountant in a BRW Top 100 firm and holds qualifications in M&A and business from the New York Institute of Finance, Harvard Business School and Deakin University.

Rick Verloop, Head of Technology
& Product, Employment

Rick is an entrepreneurial veteran of Australia’s payroll software market, with 35 years’ experience building and perfecting payroll systems including as HR3’s Chief Executive Officer since 2000.

Writing his first payroll system in 1981 at the age of 19 – which was widely used by leading fashion industry companies of the day including Country Road and Witchery – Rick went on to co-found software start-up Data Scope Systems at the age of 22, which was later rebranded HR3.

Rick’s achievements include designing another four complete payroll systems, just one of which was Australia’s first Windows-based payroll system Winpay, one of Australia’s most successful payroll software sellers. At ReadyTech, Rick is a central figure guiding employment product strategy.

Michael Benyon, Head of Revenue,

Michael Benyon arrived in Australia in 1978 from the UK. Michael started in IT as a programmer in 1980 where he worked with Rick Verloop at a software house primarily servicing the rag-trade. During this time Michael’s roles extended to systems analyst and project leader.

In 1985 Michael moved to Computer Technology (Mayne Nickless Computer Services) to the new frontier of using PC’s in the payroll outsourcing industry. In 1988 Michael joined HR3 where he project managed mid-sized retailer accounts. Michael has always held a strong emphasis on project delivery, quality assurance and customer service excellence. More recently Michael added the role of promotion and management of HR3’s expanding sales partners program in all states.
